Silk knit top with a red bow, digitally printed as a finished piece with plaid stripes and florals. Worn with the Trachten Tricot Skirt. Made in Italy. Inspired by a purposeful misinterpretation of western culture, the designer's aim is to take a new approach to an old tradition offering a true reflection of today’s contradictive and un-conventional ways of embodying femininity.
Born in 1990 in New York and raised in Rome, Jezabelle Cormio is a women’s fashion designer who graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Fashion Design from the prestigious Royal Academy of Antwerp in 2013. In 2013 she was selected by Ann Demeulemeester to represent emerging Belgian talent in an exhibition, entitled Fashion@EgmontPalais, curated by herself in honor of the incoronation of HRM Mathilde Queen of Belgium, to whom it was presented. Her first men’s wear collection after graduation was bought by Opening Ceremony and distributed globally, in their stores in Los Angeles, New York and London. After a short period as assistant designer in the house of Paco Rabanne, in the summer of 2015 she began the preparatory work that lead to the launch of CORMIO in 2016: a line of luxury contemporary evening-wear that is currently being distributed by Opening Ceremony stores exclusively. She lives and works in Bassano del Grappa, in Veneto, where she develops and follows the production of her collections, as well as draw new links between her emerging brand and the established industry expertise of the region.
Amaya is 5'10" tall and measures 32” bust, 22” waist, and 35” hips and wears a size S. Fabric is 100% Silk Knit. Made in Italy. For care: hand-wash at 30° or delicate machine cycle and no dry-cleaning. This piece has been treated and fixed by their print manufacturers and therefore will not be bleeding or rubbing off under any circumstances.
