July 2016, Alexandra Hadjikyriacou and Jaimee Mckenna both textile and knitwear graduates from Central Saint Martins, united to form the brand ‘Kepler’. The fundamentals of Kepler take inspiration from traditional methods of garment making and cultures from across the globe, amalgamating them together to create a modern approach to constructing clothing. Kepler elevates, investigates and curates by combining the two designers separate skills and influences together that progresses into a new form of design. The two designers separate skills and influences of historical garments, civilizations and Earth’s landscapes create a juxtaposed outlook from two separate minds and places unifying as one, Kepler.
