About Maker

Bror August was founded by Bror August Vestbø in 2015, when the designer was just seventeen years old. His first collection made such an impression that his second, third and fourth collections have all been presented during New York Fashion Week. In addition to Bror August collections, Vestbø has designed clothing for culture magazine ALL-IN, and has made costumes for dance and performances, while participating in several exhibitions at art institutions such as Stedjik Museum in Amsterdam and Moderna Museet in Stockholm. This designer is based out of Oslo, Norway.

Sizing / Details

Laine is 5'7" tall and measures 32" bust, 24.5" waist, and 32" hips and wears a size XS/S. The material is 100% Silk hand painted with reactive textile coloring. Dry clean only.

Made exclusively for Maimoun. This string dye dress is 100% silk, double layered and hand painted with reactive textile coloring in soft colorful hues. 4 sets of strings run through the width of the garment weighted by vintage glass spheres at the ends. Each piece is completely one of a kind and made in the designer's studio in Oslo, Norway. This dress can also be worn 2 different ways depending on how you tie the strings. The first look is shown above and the second look is haltered around the neck and can be found here. This piece is unique in an Edition of 4.
