Vortex button up tank with shrunken fit. Hand-loomed in blue space-dyed knit, featuring exposed seams. A tight fit lends itself to featuring the skewed open button closure design. Given the handmade nature and small batch dyes, each piece is slightly unique in color and fit.
Gabe Gordon is a Providence-based textile artist and designer currently pursuing his BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design. The pieces included in this collection titled “Tight Squeeze," aim to visualize the surreal and dream-like nature of grief through a tension between warmth and constriction. The yarns used in this collection were sustainably sourced from a local company in Rhode Island that carries discarded yarns from other mills.
