Tank dress. A shrunken fit, hand loomed in plum purple in a space-dyed knit. Featuring exposed seams. A tight fit lends itself to featuring the skewed open button closure running from top to bottom of the piece. Given the handmade nature and small batch dyes, each piece is slightly unique in color and fit.
Gabe Gordon is a Providence based textile artist and designer currently pursuing his BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design. He makes knitwear and likes looking at stains, rainbows and smiley faces. He is heavily inspired by the decay and nostalgia of worn cloth and his fabrics and garments are an assemblage of his own histories and memories.
Esra is 5'8" tall and measures 30” bust, 24” waist, and 34” hips and wears size S/M. Made from 100% Cotton. Hand Wash/Dry-clean only. Constructed by hand in Providence, Rhode Island.
