The necessary finishing touch to your evening beauty ritual. Still traditionally made by hand in Italy, Koh-I-Noor is one of the few who still uses natural bristles in their products. With five rows of natural bristles, this brush is known for its many positives. They de-frizz and smooth hair while preventing breakage. The bristles also gently massage your scalp to increase blood flow, encouraging hair growth for thicker, longer, and smoother hair. The brushes are made with the intention of having for a life-time if taken care of. Their iconic faux tortoise shell design features a handle and body made of cellulose acetate with a gold-stamped logo.
Koh-I-Noor, originally known as Bürstenfabrik Grüneberg, was established in 1832 in Bratislava, Slovakia as a manufacturer of toothbrushes. The name was changed in the 1920s to it’s current name. In 1942 when the Russians invaded Slovakia, the Grüneberg Family sold Koh-I-Noor technology and intellectual properties to Carlo Scavini who moved everything to Tredate, Italy. Since then, the Scavini family expanded the product offerings to include personal care products such as hair brushes, comb and shaving brushes. The faux tortoiseshell design of these beautiful beauty products from their Jaspè collection are iconic and timeless and meant to stay with you for years.
The classic brush measures 8.2" long by 2" wide. Sculpted by hand from cellulose acetate and made in Italy. Care: Care: Remove any excess hair from your brush and swirl the brush in a bowl of lukewarm water with a little shampoo in the water. Rinse thoroughly, removing all soap, dirt, hair and oils. Air dry.
