Current Collection for Alix Higgins
Alix Higgins is a fashion and textiles designer from Sydney, Australia. After training in Paris and working with Marine Serre as head of print, Alix returned to his hometown to start his eponymous label. The brand focuses on imbuing everyday pieces with magic, poetry, creating a wearable armour, a love letter to the internet, to a future that is bright. DELECTABLE EARTH SHUDDER is a visceral howl, something feral and unknown, deep within a darkened forest. For this collection Serre wanted to create something darker and more real, more closely related to how their friends dress, with such elegance, ease and cool. Whilst still imbuing a future facing sense of magic through the animal prints. Serre was thinking about new animals, and a kind of feral person….
