Avery Gregory is a stone collector, curator, and portraitist. Normally taking the form of meticulously constructed assemblages of found stones, her pieces showcase and celebrate the impartiality of the natural world by presenting its most basic material, stone, in its most basic form - translated for Maimoun into simple post earrings. Each stone is carefully and sustainably hand-gathered from a number of favorite material-rich locations, and each pairing is designed to showcase the individual beauty of each stone in contrast to their spouse.
