Matilda Sundkler is a Sweden-based designer and artist working under the alias Sylvi Sundkler. The work is founded in the management problem of Swedish waste wool and proposes shrinkage as an alternative concept to create form. By considering wool as an independent material force, with its own natural behavior, this small collection is a result of an intimate dialogue between material and maker. The shrinking process is ever dynamic leaving each piece unique and hand-made from Swedish waste wool.
