Designed from printed soft velvet, the sleeveless maxi dress features Lucille Thièvre's signature gapped front closure with handmade glass buttons in various colors. The red and black velvet showcases Lucille Thièvre's logo used sparsely throughout the print. Ruched detailing down the center and sides.
Each glass button is unique due to its artisanal making, each style will have a unique assortment of colored buttons.
Lucille laid the first stones of her eponymous brand, LUCILLE THIEVRE, in 2019. A collection made in France using deadstock materials sourced from luxury fashion houses. In order to create soulful garments, LUCILLE THIEVRE aims to create a commercial structure as creative and daring as her collections, questioning established process of garment production. Many of the pieces are hand loomed and made in collaboration with local artists who contribute the various embellishments and fastenings. Lucille celebrates the female figure, using fabrics that and silhouettes that capture and frame moments with uniquely ornamented cut-outs.
