The cacao brown cardi features a distinctive gapped front closure adorned with entirely handmade glass buttons in a variety of colors. Long sleeves, ruched detailing down the center back, and gathered adjustable side ribbons. Designed with stretch for comfort, the front chest is accented with glass button closure.
Lucille laid the first stones of her eponymous brand, LUCILLE THIEVRE, in 2019. A collection made in France using deadstock materials sourced from luxury fashion houses. In order to create soulful garments, LUCILLE THIEVRE aims to create a commercial structure as creative and daring as her collections, questioning established process of garment production. Many of the pieces are hand loomed and made in collaboration with local artists who contribute the various embellishments and fastenings. Lucille celebrates the female figure, using fabrics that and silhouettes that capture and frame moments with uniquely ornamented cut-outs.
