Super Yaya fabrics are hand-picked, hand-dyed and mostly printed in Ivory Coast before then being manually crafted in Lebanon. This collection is entirely made out of Bazin and Wax. Bazin is sourced, hand dyed and starched in small batches. This process gives it a unique tint and moire effect.
Born and raised in Abidjan, young Lebanese artist Rym Beydoun was never going to lack a unique point of view. The Central Saint Martins graduate set up her label SuperYAYA last year, inspired by the raw and innovative design she discovered during her placement year back home. Now based between Lebanon and Cote d’Ivoire.
