SOSSKYN is a sensual, sculptural clothing label founded by artist Samara Scott and curator Tayah Leigh Barrs. Rooted in themes of translucency and liquidity, each garment explores texture and form, challenging traditional fashion norms. Described as "low-fi couture," every piece is handmade in their studio by the Dover sea in the UK. SOSSKYN’s clothes are soft, skin-like, and crafted from salvaged, organic materials like glistening rubbers, silicons, stretch elastics, eco-resins, and satin latex. The brand embraces experimental techniques such as casting, scorching, and fusing, with each item carrying unique marks from the creative process. SOSSKYN garments are designed to be worn and relished, with bodies completing the alchemy.
