Everything starts with color for Brooke Callahan, a Los Angeles-based designer drawn to bold, bright, and unexpected color ways. Inspired by the vibrant palettes of late 90s Calvin Klein and Helmut Lang, the perfect color combinations in Fruits magazine, the designs of Sister Loreta Kent and Paul Rand, the walls in Chinatown, flowers around Los Angeles, and Jackie O on vacation. Finding simple silhouettes that seamlessly integrate into the wardrobe can be challenging, but Brooke meets this challenge by working with drawstrings and adjustable designs to ensure every body can experience a perfect fit.
